Ingredients for Antakya Bread Fasting Recipe
- 1.5 cups bulgur with meatballs
- 1 medium onion
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 3 tablespoons of paprika
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda or baking soda
- 2 stale bread (loaf)

Antakya Bread Fasting Recipe
We keep our bulgur wheat by grating the tomato paste and cumin onion and soaking it. We keep the breads in a bowl filled with water. For 5 minutes, enough breads will become soft. We start to knead our bulgur, add flour, baking powder and egg into it, knead a little more, add the breads and mix, if the salt and pepper paste are not enough according to your request, you can add a little soft meatball consistency. Then we grease our tray well (with olive oil), open our meatballs on the tray in medium thickness, cut them into strips, spread our oil on all sides of the meatballs, bake them in a preheated 200 degree oven, check and let’s not dry them too much. (You can also roll the meatballs and fry them in hot oil, if desired, by opening them slightly with our hands). enjoy your meal.
