Baked Anchovy

Ingredients for Baked Anchovies

  • 1 kg anchovies
  • 3 diced onions
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 handfuls of dried tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of capers
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

How to Make Anchovy in the Oven?

  • Before washing the anchovies, pour 1 tablespoon of grape vinegar along with water into the bowl in which you will wash the fish, and transfer the fish into it.
  • After waiting about 10 minutes, let’s start sorting the fish. Let’s put clean water in a separate bowl and wash the anchovies that we sorted by throwing them into it.
  • Then, after filtering our fish and applying the same process three or four more times, let’s transfer it to the strainer to allow our fish to drain.
  • Let’s transfer the filtered fish to our baking tray after blending it with our finely chopped parsley, piyaz onion, capers, dried tomatoes, salt and olive oil.
  • Let’s put the lemons we cut on it and let it cook in the oven that we have heated to 180 degrees.
