- 500 g brussels sprouts
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of natron
- 1 tablespoon vegetable bouillon
- Black pepper (lemon rind)
- Butter (optional)
Brussels Sprouts Recipe Preparation
The first skins of the cabbage are removed and washed.
Then carefully cut the branches one by one with the knife (as much as you can, of course).
Boil water in a saucepan and add sugar, natron, bouillon and some salt. Cabbage is boiled for 2 minutes and filtered.
About a pack of cream is put in the pot. Mix salt, black pepper, lemon peel, nutmeg and, if desired, a teaspoon of butter. The stove is opened a little, the cream is boiled a little and immediately turned down again. Cabbage is mixed with cream and tasted. Salt is added if needed.
