Ingredients for Brussels Sprouts with Olive Oil
- 1 package of brussels sprouts
- 1 large onion
- 1 carrot
- 1 potato
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Olive oil
- Salt
- mill black pepper
- 1 glass of boiling water
Recipe for Brussels Sprouts with Olive Oil
- We clean the outer leaves of the cabbage and keep them in vinegar water.
- We cut the onions in half moons and start sautéing them in olive oil, cut the garlic in half and throw it away.
- Then add the chopped carrots and fry for 5 more minutes. S
- Then add the potatoes and cabbage and fry for another 10 minutes.
- We do the sautéing process on high heat so that the vegetables do not water and lose their color.
- Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and add salt and pepper.
- We turn it a little more and add boiling water. Since I don’t like vegetable dishes too watery, I used 1 glass of water to open the tomato paste, you can adjust it according to your taste.
- Cook on low heat until the vegetables are soft. They cook to a large extent already during sautéing.
- About 10 minutes is enough. We serve lukewarm. Good luck ;))
