Ingredients for Carrot and Cheddar Cauliflower Meatballs Recipe
- 1 small cauliflower
- 2 carrots
- 2 eggs
- 2 spoons of flour (heaped)
- 1- 1.5 cups of breadcrumbs or crumbled stale bread
- Half a bunch of parsley
- 4-5 sprigs of dill
- Salt
- Black pepper
- chili pepper
- Powdered red pepper
- Cumin (I used plenty to avoid gas)
To put between
- Sliced Cheddar Cheese
To fry;
- Liquid oil
Carrot and Cheddar Cauliflower Meatballs Recipe Preparation
After sorting and washing the cauliflower, we separate it into florets and boil it together with the carrots until soft. We throw a slice of lemon and some salt into the boiling water. After filtering the water and cooling it, we crush it with the help of a potato masher. We add eggs, flour, parsley, dill, salt and spices to the extent we want and knead. You can increase or decrease the amount of breadcrumbs according to the consistency. Let it rest for 15 minutes, break off egg-sized pieces and open it like making a pastry in our hands. We put a slice of cheddar between it and close it. (I recommend wearing plastic gloves so that it doesn’t stick to your hands while doing this.) After shaping it completely, we fry both sides in hot oil. You can serve it with noodles, yogurt and greens of your choice. Enjoy your meal:))
