Ingredients for Cold Baklava
- 1 pack of phyllo dough
- enough plain oil
- 300 g pistachios
- Nesquik (for sprinkling)
- For the syrup:
- 300 g granulated sugar
- 400 g cream
- 500 g milk
How to Make Cold Baklava?
- Divide the phyllo packet in half. While laying it on the tray, apply the plain oil you melted on each layer to cover all parts.
- When the first phyllo dough is done, sprinkle pistachios between them.
- Apply plain oil to the 2nd floor in the same way. Cut into squares before cooking.
- Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown.
- For sherbet; Warm the milk slightly. Add sugar to it and mix until sugar dissolves.
- Add the cream to the melted sugar and grind.
- Leave the syrup you prepared to cool at room temperature. Sherbet should be cold and baklava should be hot.
- Although it is usually sprinkled with cocoa and chocolate, I like nesquiki more.
