Ingredients for Cold Baklava

  • 1 pack of phyllo dough
  • enough plain oil
  • 300 g pistachios
  • Nesquik (for sprinkling)
  • For the syrup:
  • 300 g granulated sugar
  • 400 g cream
  • 500 g milk

How to Make Cold Baklava?

  • Divide the phyllo packet in half. While laying it on the tray, apply the plain oil you melted on each layer to cover all parts.
  • When the first phyllo dough is done, sprinkle pistachios between them.
  • Apply plain oil to the 2nd floor in the same way. Cut into squares before cooking.
  • Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown.
  • For sherbet; Warm the milk slightly. Add sugar to it and mix until sugar dissolves.
  • Add the cream to the melted sugar and grind.
  • Leave the syrup you prepared to cool at room temperature. Sherbet should be cold and baklava should be hot.
