Ingredients for Minced Okra Recipe

  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of dried okra
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 potato
  • 1 carrot
  • Don’t be blindfolded
  • 2 teaspoons of flour
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • Half a teaspoon of oil

Minced Okra Recipe Preparation

Let’s put our oil, finely chopped onion and garlic in our pot and fry it. Then let’s put our mince in order. Let’s throw a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of black pepper and flakes, let’s fry it. Then we add our tomato paste and tomato sauce (or a peeled tomato grater). Let’s put our flour, then add a tea glass of water and boil it. On the other hand, let’s boil our carrot first. Then add our potatoes and boil it. Let’s throw in a teaspoon of salt, and pour the boiled potatoes and carrots into our boiling mince sauce. On the other hand, let’s pour our okra into a clean cloth and rub it so that all the hairs of the okra remain on the cloth. Let’s put our rubbed okra in a pot. Let’s put 3 glasses of water on it. Let’s pour the juice of a lemon, boil it for 15 minutes. When we are sure that our okra is soft, let’s take our pot off the stove. Let’s put cold water on it. Then let’s drain half of it, let our okra wait for 10 minutes with the remaining water. Then, let’s filter our okra with the help of a strainer and add everything to our pot that is ready and cook it on medium heat for 20 minutes. It tastes great, and it doesn’t drool at all.
