Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie

For the sponge cake:

  • 100 g butter
  • 40 g sugar
  • 500 g pumpkin puree
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 4 egg whites
  • 50 g granulated sugar

For the cream:

  • 50 g cracked walnuts
  • 250 g pumpkin puree

How to Make Pumpkin Pie

  • In a mixer, rise the butter at room temperature with 40 g of sugar. Add the puree and whisk again. Add the egg yolks and whisk again.
  • Add the ground almonds and whisk again. Fluff the egg white with 50 g of sugar in a mixer until it turns white.
  • Mix the 2 mixtures together with a spatula. Cover the baking tray with greaseproof paper and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Spread the puree on the sponge cake and sprinkle the walnuts. Roll it up and decorate as you wish. Enjoy your meal.
