Ingredients for Cooked Shrimp Recipe

  • 5 medium eggplants

  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup
  • 1 cube of sugar

  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of paprika

Making the Recipe for Karnıyarık in the Pot

First of all, let’s peel our eggplant variegated. Do not cut off the stems. Let’s make 4-5 scratches on 1 eggplant. Let’s apply this to all our eggplants. Let it stand for 40 minutes in salted water in which we poured 2 tablespoons of salt. While they wait in salty water, let’s prepare our mincemeat, ladies. First, we run our onion and garlic through the rondo together. We chop 1 pepper small. We also pass our tomatoes through the rondo. Then, pour some oil into the pan. Add the onion and garlic and fry until they turn pink. Then we put the peppers. Let it fry for 3 minutes. Then, let’s put our tomatoes, sugar, spices and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and fry for 5 minutes. Then pour 1 cup of water. Let it stay on the stove until the water draws out. When the water is very little, take it from the stove. Next, let’s get our eggplants out of the water. Let’s set it up nicely. Let’s fry it in hot oil so that both sides are slightly browned. Let’s place the eggplants in a round flat pan. Let’s open it with a spoon. Let’s put the minced meat. On the other hand, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and 1 sprinkle of honey to 2 glasses of boiled water and whisk. Let’s pour it on the eggplants. Let it cook for 30-35 minutes on medium heat.
