- 1 cup of bulgur wheat
- Half a glass of flour

- 1 kilo of spinach
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cups garlic yoghurt
- Olive oil
- Salt

To sauté the meatballs;
- 2 spoonful butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
Spinach Borani Recipe with Meatballs
We wet the bulgur with warm water and wait. Wash and chop the spinach. Then we chop the onion for food and saute it in oil. Add the spinach and cook until the water is gone. Add salt and pepper and take the spinach off the stove and let it cool.
Add flour and salt to the swollen bulgur and mix. Then we add water little by little and knead it until it is well mixed. Take marble-sized pieces from the dough and roll them out. Boil the meatballs in boiling salted water. Meatballs are cooked when they float to the surface. Drain the cooked meatballs.
Add the butter and olive oil to the pan and when the oil melts, add the meatballs and add the red pepper powder and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Mix the warmed spinach with garlic yoghurt and put it on the serving plate. We put the meatballs in the middle and serve. Enjoy your meal.
