- 5 artichokes
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2 heads of garlic
- 10 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 5 teaspoons of salt
- 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 2 glasses of water

Thoroughly clean the inside of the artichokes. (We clean the fibrous part inside, it’s a bit of a painstaking job but it’s worth it) Finely chop 1 bunch of parsley and garlic. Place the artichokes in your pot. Add a mixture of parsley and garlic and add lemon, salt and granulated sugar to them. Add water to the pot and cook on medium heat for 1 hour. You will eat the fleshy parts of the artichokes by removing the leaves one by one, it is a delicious recipe to eat.
