Ingredients for Vanilla Milk Jam

  • 1 liter of whole milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (Preferably vanilla flavored)
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

How to Make Vanilla Milk Jam?

  • Take 2 teaspoons of baking soda and sugar in a deep saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
  • When it starts to boil, add the baking soda and continue cooking on low heat. (Choose a deep pan and stir constantly, as the milk will swell due to the carbonate.)
  • Add the vanilla and cook for about 45 minutes – 1 hour, stirring frequently. When it reaches a smooth consistency and honey foam – caramel color, take it from the stove and jar it.
  • The longer the cooking time, the darker the color will be, you can set the time according to the consistency you want. After cooling, you can keep it closed in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks.
