  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • 6 sprigs of dill

How to Make Yams Meal

  • Olive oil is put in the pot and the chopped onion is started to be roasted.
  • The garlic is crushed and added next to the onion, and the roasting process continues.
  • Carrots are peeled from their skins and cut into rings.
  • Jerusalem artichokes can be peeled and cut into rings or half moons. However, if the Jerusalem artichoke is to be chopped beforehand, it should be kept in water with lemon so that it does not turn black. No need if you’re going to start cooking right after chopping.
  • Place the Jerusalem artichoke and carrot in the pot, mix it with all the ingredients.
  • Lemon and orange juice are mixed with flour, be careful not to clump together, and then put in the pot.
  • Spices are poured, rice is added, and water is added to 1 finger below the ingredients and left to cook with the lid closed.
  • After cooking, the dill is finely chopped and added to it and mixed.
