It’s a recipe I made for my wife, who doesn’t like cauliflower, and she finally liked it and told me to make it all the time. First of all, cauliflower is cut into small pieces and boiled in a pot with enough water to cover it. If the fork sinks easily on the cauliflower, it means that the cauliflowers are boiled. Do not boil it too much and make it crushed. On the other hand, half a tea glass of oil, 1 finely chopped onion is put into the pot and roasted and ground meat is placed on it, salt and desired spices are adjusted. After it is well roasted, boiled and completely drained cauliflower is added and sautéed for about 6-7 minutes without crushing the cauliflower. Sauteed cauliflowers are placed in a bore of approximately 15×25 cm. The size of the pyrex is not important, a medium sized baking dish is also fine. I also shared what size I used in the pictures. Bechamel sauce is prepared on it. You can prepare bechamel sauce as follows. First, it is lightly roasted with butter and 2 tablespoons of flour until it smells. Add milk to it and mix it quickly with a whisk. If there is clumping, it will be very convenient for you to pass this mixture through the rondo. After the bechamel sauce is poured over the cauliflower, it is placed in the oven that is heated upside down at 180 degrees and cooked for approximately 20 25 minutes. Finally, after sprinkling cheddar on it, it is put back in the oven and cooked until it turns golden brown. You can add the cauliflower and bechamel sauce separately by adjusting the salt amount according to your taste. I didn’t specifically mention it because I cook the dishes without salt.
